You haven’t read anything from me since our wonderful 90 day European bike trip last summer (2018).

Well, Roy and I had issues with the blogging app we used last year and had to switch. So, now we are on WordPress.

In a nutshell, we “wintered” in Florida City, Florida at the top of the Keys from September until mid-February.

During that time, we visited Everglades National Park, Biscayne National Park, and Big Cypress National Preserve multiple times.

We hosted 6 or 7 couples or singles via Couch Surfing or Warm Showers. We wanted to give back a little after the wonderful accommodations we had in the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland last year.

We rode bikes along the flat agricultural roads and one bikeway/ busway that stretches to Coral Gables.

We had great meals with our son and daughter-in-law with each couple taking turns cooking. Yum! We also oogled the variety of orchids at the Ft. Lauderdale Orchid Show with Tomas and Sela.

All too soon, it was time to head north to an FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association) rally in Perry, Georgia in mid-March. But I’ll fill in with other blog posts a little later.
